Sweater (thrifted; similar here) | Skirt (also love this one and this one) | Boots (old; similar here)
I found the cutest corduroy skirt at Target, and I love the festive colors and the mini floral print. This sweater is actually thrifted, but it’s so soft and cozy and a little oversized which makes it extra comfy! I tucked it in for a more flattering fit, and to show off the skirt a little more. And if you saw my casual fall outfit post last month then you’ve already seen these grey ankle boots! Last time I wore them with jeans, but here you can see that they also go great with a skirt.
This year my mom and I are making quite a few dishes to take to my grandparents’ house for Thanksgiving dinner. Usually we’re in charge of mashed potatoes and rolls, but this time I’m also making my homemade apple pie, the BEST from-scratch creamed corn (I use this recipe I found on Pinterest and it is AMAZING), and roasted veggies. Oh and almost forgot my mom’s pumpkin cream cheese pudding pie! Wow I’m drooling just thinking about it all.
Our plan is to do as much prep and cooking ahead as we can on Wednesday, so we don’t have to stress too much on Thursday. (I’m also gonna try and make some cinnamon rolls for breakfast on Thursday… we’ll see if I can pull it off!) We did all our grocery shopping this morning and it was already getting a little crazy out there at the grocery stores. Glad we got it done!
What are your Thanksgiving plans this year? Are you trying any new recipes? I love hearing about other people’s holiday traditions, so leave a comment and tell me yours! Also, let me know what you’re wearing and if this Thanksgiving outfit inspired you. Happy Thanksgiving! ❤
